We started out by getting Corey a haircut! Yes, a rather strange couples activity, but luckily my dad came, too. It was, after all, his hairdresser. So we took Corey to Rita, the magical barbershop hairstylist - and we were all a little nervous. If this haircut didn't turn out okay, Corey would obviously blame my father and never be able to eat dinner at the same table with him again. Luckily, Rita did a fabulous job and Corey was not forced to hold a grudge against my dad for years to come. Behold, the wonderful haircut:
Yes, I made Corey stand in front of a tree for ten minutes so I could document this momentous event (getting Corey to get a haircut is no simple task, let me tell you). Corey was shy, though, so he hid behind some tree branches briefly.
And here's a photo of me that Corey took, triumphant after the successful haircut venture:
I'm super over-exposed, but I'm all "Yeah, biotch, Corey finally got a haircut!" Meanwhile, Corey is in the background saying that getting a haircut was all his idea and I can't make him do anything 'cause he's a man. Whatevs.Anywho, then we went out to dinner and to the movies to see Orphan, which was scary as hell, in my opinion, and awesome. Dude, kids can be so scary. I'm not having any for at least ten years, lest mine turn out to be possessed or demonic in any way. I'll be more equipped to handle that in my thirties, I'm sure.
Then Corey and I had a lovey-dovey moment and we took this picture:
Which, like almost every other picture in this post, I'm posting simply for vanity's sake. Because I am so happy. And I don't care if it makes you want to gag.P.S. I swear, I do have more Europe posts - several more - I just have to get around to actually typing them... but I will! I will!
